IN THIS TIME I REFLECT 2022

In This Time I Reflect is a series of four performances presented through posters distributed across public spaces in Brixton, South London, shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each poster featured a QR code, an object closely associated with the pandemic, allowing passers-by to access a short performance on their own mobile phone.

Experienced privately yet encountered in public space, the works created an intimate viewing moment within the fast, transient rhythm of the street

Styled like an IKEA instruction manual, the posters offered a satirical critique of digitally mediated presence, questioning how quickly we pass through images, bodies, and experiences on screens, and how this accelerated mode of attention continues to shape public life, access, and the performance of everyday behaviour.
